Is Stacy Keibler Paying for Not Playing Hard-to-Get with George Clooney?

I wondered about this one and, finally, there's news on it today. It sounds as if George Clooney and Stacy Keibler are nearing the end of their relationship. According to the report, George is only a heartbeat away from telling Stacy that it’s over. He’s doing what a man usually does when he has one foot out the door which is pull away and act really distant.

How’s Stacy handling it? Well, the article said that she wakes up in the morning with no idea what will happen. It didn’t say whether she was sleeping at his house every night. Based on how much time she spends with him, though, it wouldn't be unlikely. 

My readers know that I followed their relationship pretty closely, especially over the summer. Stacy took a very long, long, long vacation with George to Italy. Every time they were photoed together, I'd tell Stacy to cut the vacation short and get home. 

George is becoming bored and here's why: Stacy spent way too much time with him! Undoubtedly, it was probably hard for Stacy to decline anything George offered. He's a highly affluent A-list celebrity. Between meeting President Obama at George's home and his invitation to spend the summer in Italy, it'd be difficult for most women to say no. Now, here we are in early fall and we haven't seen them out together in some time. Because of that, the rumor mill is buzzing about how they might be over.

One reason why women will spend a lot of time with a man is because they find it impossible to turn down plans or cave when the man acts disappointed that he won't see her. Aside from that, they love being around him and enjoy being in a relationship. Women will also sometimes say that they don't want to play hard-to-get because then they're not being themselves. 

It's understandable that women want to pursue their relationships with men unfettered and do only what feels good. Like Stacy, though, they'll pay the price later. I can only imagine the pain and helplessness she's feeling right now because she senses she's no longer George's It Girl. True, George is a confirmed bachelor. But, we'll never know if he'd remarry because the women he dates can't be mysterious.

Stacy's only chance of regaining his attention is to get busy, busy, busy - busier than George! Instead of spending the night at his house, say that she wants to go home so she can wake up in her own bed. Try only seeing him once or twice a week and don't answer all of his calls or texts. It might not work, but it's worth a shot. What she's doing right now simply isn't getting her results.
