JOE AND TINA SIMPSON DIVORCE – IS ALCOHOL TO BLAME?
I
don’t know too many people who are fans of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s
father, Joe, a.k.a. Papa Joe. We never really heard much about the mom,
Tina. It seemed she really liked to stay out of the limelight.
Disappointing news broke today that Joe and Tina are divorcing after 35
years of marriage. Interestingly enough, Tina actually filed in Texas
about a month ago. This makes me wonder if Joe has a problem with the
bottle given he was arrested on August 4 and charged with two counts of
DUI. If Joe is struggling with alcohol, hopefully he’ll go through
treatment. The tabloids are playing on
the whole gay angle. They’re citing divorce documents that say the
marriage is insupportable because of
discord or conflict of personalities. To me, that could mean a million
things. Either way, not sure I believe Joe's
gay.
Wow.
Wowww. Apparently, Katy is having awesome sex with John. At
least according to their neighbors. Not
only do they have very loud sex, but they also keep late hours and like
to turn the music up loud. At first I thought this story might just be
made up. However, I was reading through the comments and someone
mentioned their coworker lives near Katy and that the music is
really bothersome. They weren’t sure about the sex part, but neighbors definitely feel it’s true they don’t care about the people living around them. Maybe they could tone it down a bit. One of
my biggest pet peeves is neighbors who don’t recognize when they’re
interrupting others.
KANYE WEST GIVES KIM CAKE – NOT CARATS – FOR HER BIRTHDAY!
It
doesn’t seem Kim got the gift from Kanye that she had her heart
set on, i.e. an engagement ring. Even though their trip to Italy sounded
very romantic, we’ve heard zero noise about a proposal. Instead, Kanye surprised her with a cake covered in chocolate. Everyone knows she’s
still married, yet she pressed on him for the ring saying she’d be very
disappointed if he didn’t come through with one on her birthday. From
what we know, Kanye never said it was out of the question. So, what happened? Will Kanye get down on bended knee at all.
Ryan Seacrest thinks there will be a proposal soon. I’m sure
he knows better than anyone. Still, that’s rough sitting at a
table hoping for a ring and your boyfriend only gives you a
snazzy
cake. I’d have a hard time not putting his face in it. Just sayin.’

MARIAH CAREY AND NICK CANNON ALMOST DIVORCED!
A
lot of us who are on the internet all day already know that people
speculated Donald Trump’s October Surprise would be about how President
Barack Obama and his wife, First Lady, Michelle, almost divorced. While the rumors swirled, the tabloids ran stories of other couples who
came close to divorce but didn’t. One that I didn’t know about was
Mariah and Nick! When Nick first became ill, it sounded like Mariah
couldn’t get him to stop working. In fact, he was nose to the grind so
much so that she threatened to leave him. I’ve always liked them as a
couple and wanted to share this blurb for two reasons. First, everyone
always said Nick married Mariah for money. While he enjoys their
lifestyle, he wants to pull his own weight –
even when he’s sick. Second, Mariah was right to say what she needed to
in order to get his attention.
Glad they’re still together!
TODAY’S FAVORITE: MICHELLE WILLIAMS AND JASON SEGEL MOVE IN TOGETHER
While
it’s no secret I don’t condone living with a man before
marriage, I think Michelle and Jason could be an exception. The big news
about the couple that broke today is Michelle is moving out of the
house she and her daughter Matilda shared with Heath Ledger and into a
loft with Jason. The reason I say this is fine is because, from all accounts, Jason is crazy about
Michelle and stepping in as a father figure for Matilda. It’s also
rumored that Jason wants to marry, but Michelle wants to hold off until
Matilda is well-adjusted to the new changes. Based on what they’ve
been through after losing Heath, I think all of it sounds just fine. It
made today’s favorite because I love Michelle and Jason as a couple. I
have a very strong feeling they will marry sometime in the next couple
of years.
