We had a couple of breakups today. First up is controversial Bachelor couple, Ben and Courtney. Well, at least one half of the couple is controversial. I was mildly surprised because I thought they were looking for wedding locations. Based on this, I had them pegged for at least making it to the altar. So, what happened? Well, the article didn't say. To their credit, though, they said that they wanted to get to know one another better following the show and not succumb to the pressure of setting wedding dates. Maybe they did this and realized it just wasn't meant to be.
DID ANNALYNNE MCCORD OUTGROW DOMINIC PURCELL
Up next in the land of breakups is AnnaLynne and Dominic. This one we do have some information about what happened. Apparently, AnnaLynne's two sisters got engaged and it made her introspective about where her own relationship with Dominic was headed. Unlike the Kardashian's who compete with each other, AnnaLynne didn't feel pressured to marry. Instead, it's rumored she left Dominic who is supposedly more into her than vice versa. I think ever since her trip to Israel she's changed for the better. She's said that she's over the Hollywood perfection requirement and seems more at ease with herself. AnnaLynne just seems more cerebral so maybe she outgrew Dominic. Either way, a lot of people are happy they split, feeling that the age difference is too significant and would like to see her with a man without so many children.
GASP -- A STACY KIEBLER AND GEORGE CLOONEY SIGHTING AFTER BREAK-UP RUMORS RUN RAMPANT!
How very convenient. We haven't seen them together for over a month. As soon as rumors make it to the tabloids that he's checked out of their relationship, voila, we get a George and Stacy sighting. It's magic! Anyway, they were spotted at the Argo premier (of course, because George is so super politically involved). As for the body language, he kept his hand on the small of her back and she had her hand wrapped around his. Everyone said they were smiling big while avoiding talking to the press. Hmmm...we'll see.

Oh ouch! I actually like Dita quite a bit and was bummed out for her when I read this. Dita and Bradley were dining seperately at the same Italian restaurant. She wanted to buy him a drink and asked her waitress to find out what he'd like. Bradley declined it, saying he was on a health kick (he's actually pretty open about how he's sober), and left the restaurant without even acknowledging her. Two quick points on this one. First, I always say if you aren't a man's type, especially don't bother hitting on him. Bradley has never gone out with a woman who even remotely has a burlesque dancer look about her. Second, this is why we don't hit on men.
TODAY'S FAVORITE: ZAC EFRON SAYS DATING IS HARD
Agreed Zac! He was on Ellen yesterday and said dating is hard and likened it to a forced, awkward situation. He added that dating in the public eye also represents a certain set of challenges that makes him more careful. This made my favorite of the day because it's nice to hear it's equally hard for a successful male celebrity to date. I like hearing it when a man is vulnerable and admits love can be tough. It's better than being macho and acting like it just all comes so super easy to him.
