Tim Tebow Says a Woman's Looks Matter -- Why a Man Who Wants a Good-Looking Woman Isn't Shallow

I read an article that made me smirk somewhat because it proved what dating coaches have been saying all along -- looks matter! If you're pounding the pavement for a boyfriend or husband, ask yourself whether you look the best you possibly can. Were you a man, would you find yourself attractive?

In his interview with Vogue, quarterback Tim Tebow said about his approach to women that, "Obviously looks play a big part. Being attracted to someone plays a big part, but there’s also so much more. It’s about finding someone sweet and kind—and that has a servant’s heart," he explained.

It's no secret men like pretty women. Yet, sometimes they're depicted as shallow for admitting this. The reason why I bring it to my reader's attention is because, well, it's Tim Tebow! He's known for being spiritual, gracious, and kind. In other words, even the nicest man wants a woman who takes care of herself and does the best with what she has.

Of course Tim wants a woman with a good heart. But, the first thing he brought up is looks. Why? Because if he can't see himself enjoying simply kissing her, it won't go very far. If you think about it, women are no different. They want to a date a man they're really attracted to and who they can't keep her hands off of. Otherwise, she'll feel like she's settling.

When it comes to making yourself attractive to a man, there's a lot you can do. Wear your hair more sexy, have a make-up artist teach you how to apply professionally, and invest in a sexier wardrobe for dates with feminine accessories. These little things really make a difference when it comes to turning a man's head.

One last point I want to address before closing is that the article had a blurb that Tim is saving sex for marriage "despite having a flood of beautiful women volunteering to be his first." When a woman coyly "volunteers" herself as a man's first, it tells a man that she's really not getting it. If anything, it's a huge turn-off. 

A man who's waiting for sex until marriage will look at a woman with pity if she's such a willing volunteer. It serves to solidify his decision to keep searching for a woman not interested in sleeping with him for the notoriety. It's indicative of her not taking his values seriously. When trying to land a man, acting with disregard to his deeply held beliefs won't take you far. You need not agree with him, but be careful of what he might consider mocking. 

Classy and courteous always goes perfectly with the new heels you bought for your date!
