SCARLETT JOHNANSSON, JARED LETO HOLD HANDS AT DNC! BUT IT WAS NOTHING...REALLY!
Kind of how when Scarlett tanned
with her bodyguard in Italy was supposedly nothing, well so is this.
Even though the pair were rumored to have a fling in the past, the way
she was holding hands,
leaning on Jared's shoulder, all of it is nothing. Funny how we never see
her boyfriend, Nate Naylor, up to any of these shenanigans with other
women. But, her rep wants us to focus on her speech which is
"exponentially more important" than what she did with Jared. I don't
know...Maybe I can think about two things at once? Obama DNC speech and
Scarlett holding hands with Jared. Wow, I just did it. Maybe even I can
tie my shoe while doing all three.
I didn't really see what the big hype was over Chris standing up and giving Ri a quick congratulatory peck and hug. What interested me was why Chris' girlfriend, Karrueche, wasn't with him. There was no mention about why she didn't attend. Maybe Chris didn't want any drama, Ri didn't want her there and Chris listened, or she was sick. No idea. There's speculation, though, Karrueche was none too pleased about their interaction because she tweeted this. Coincidence? Maybe. But I think it's a woman who's not so happy.

JOHN MAYER HAPPY TO DATE KATY PERRY QUIETLY, BUT NO RED CARPET!
Given John's not all that interested in Katy, I wasn't surprised he didn't attend the VMAs as her +1. He probably doesn't want the world to get the wrong idea that they're still together. Sure, he'll go out to dinner and a concert, but he didn't walk the carpet with her. As if we need more proof he's not feeling it, check out how utterly bored he looks. He doesn't even seem happy to see her. Oh, Katy. Get out of this one. I'm serious...when a man says he's done, trust that he is. Don't go back for him.
DEMI LOVATO AND WILMER VALDERRAMA STILL SECRETLY SEEING EACH OTHER?
I wasn't surprised Demi didn't go on a date with Niall Horan from One Direction following the VMAs. But, I had no idea she's still linked with Wilmer! Last I mentioned them, he tweeted her for her birthday and it didn't go too well. But, the "sources" say
she's head over heels for Wilmer. They aren't officially dating,
but aren't seeing anyone else. It's also being said they're getting
back together. Not such a good idea. I want to see her with a super
great guy after all she's been through. Does Wilmer fit that
bill?
I wonder what's going on with Miley and Liam? It doesn't sound like she's doing any wedding planning. She recently said, "I don't really feel like I need the paper right now. I'm trying to work. I'll have a single out this year, so I'm really excited." On one hand, it's great she's not chatting with the press about her love life and keeps the focus on her career. On the other, is she excited at all? Most women who're engaged are super thrilled and can't wait for the party with family and friends. Makes me wonder what's up with these two?

EMILY MAYNARD CALLS MORMON FIANCE JEF HOLM A "BORE-MON"
There are a lot of stories swirling about Emily and Jef lately. I'm not sure what it is about her that makes me suspect the bad one's are all true. It's not news the couple is on shaky ground and are rumored to split at anytime. This time she called Jef a 'Bore-Mon.' So rude if this is true because he just seems like such a sweetheart. Well, not everyone can be as exciting as Emily -- allegedly sexting with Matt Leinart and all. Hopefully she won't go West Virginia hoodrat backwoods" on me for saying so, though. I promise it's the last time I'll say it!
TODAY'S FAVORITE
We don't really see Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake out too much these days. But, they were spotted at the Stand Up to Cancer telethon last night. According to the report, they hit the phones and did some fundraising at the event. This is my favorite because this is a great cause and I'm happy to see them using their celebrity status to drive awareness.
