MARIA SHARAPOVA AND SASHA VUJACIC NO LONGER ENGAGED
It's a holiday weekend so not sure who saw it. Maria and Sasha's split was announced
on Saturday. Apparently, they ended their engagement at the end of spring. We're just
hearing about it now because Maria never said anything formally and
waited until someone asked her. Sasha proposed in October 2010.
According to Maria, though, their schedules made it very difficult as
did his career move to Turkey. Why didn't they marry? One and a half
years is a long engagement. Anyway, good luck to them both!
I thought this was super strange. According to the report, Chad didn't introduce Avril to his family before he proposed. He said that he put his mother on speaker phone and gave her the news. Even weirder is that he characterized it as hilarious. Unless his mother is in jail (and I'm not making fun of her in any way if she is), I don't see the hilarity in Chad not taking Avril to meet his family. You'd think he'd at least take her to meet them now that she's his fiance. What's going on with this one?
HAS VANESSA PARADIS MOVED ON FROM JOHNNY DEPP
While I don't like the news of any couple with kids who splits, I do like knowing the woman isn't sitting at home upset. Vanessa is seeing Guy-David Gharbi, a businessman who she met on a plane (this is why we look good no matter where we go!). He sounds crazy about her, too and has made his feelings about her very clear. However, he's giving her all of the time she needs. Equally, it's said she's very happy as well and has since gone back to writing music and singing. Congrats, Vanessa -- this one is so far so good!

This one was almost today's favorite just because I love them as a couple. When asked what their secret is to a happy marriage, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have the answer: Joint tours. Oh, and they have to work around their kid's schedules. These two have their priorities straight -- they make sure to spend time together and put their babies first. This is why Faith and Tim have been going strong for 15-years!
TODAY'S FAVORITE: HEIDI KLUM STAYS CLASSY DESPITE SEAL'S MUD SLINGING
One minute Seal's saying he wishes Heidi wouldn't "fornicate with the help," but in the next breath says he wasn't implying Heidi cheated during their marriage. Either way, what he said was hardly complimentary. Still, Heidi stayed classy and said she cherishes their memories but they have both moved on. This is today's favorite because it provides a classic example of it's not what people say about you, but how you react that counts.
