AMY POEHLER AND WILL ARNETT SEPARATE AFTER 9 YEARS
Sob, sob, cry, cry. This is such a bummer. My favorite funny couple, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have separated after 9 years. I've looked around for the reason why and haven't been able to find anything. I'm glad to hear, though, that it's very amicable. Unlike most celebrity couples who say this, I actually believe them. Awww you two...are you sure? Like, sure sure?
DID SOFIA VERGARA HOLD OFF ON ANNOUNCING ENGAGEMENT BECAUSE OF PRENUP?
It took Sofia a long time to announce her engagement to Nick Loeb? I started thinking today that maybe the reason she didn't tell us her big news is because she wanted to wait until the prenup was signed. Granted, the story is from the Enquirer. But, if Nick cheats on her, she gets $10 million. Given he's worth $15, well, he won't be broke, but she'd have most of his money.
If she really doesn't trust him this much, why marry him? I'd want a man who's faithful because he doesn't want any other woman, not because I've got him locked into a contract. Maybe that's too idealistic of me, but it's true. I can understand a prenup so he doesn't take her money. But one so that he doesn't cheat? Is this weird to anyone else? Maybe there's more to the story.

We've all heard the rumors that they might be marrying in the south of France and that maybe Jennifer Aniston plans to wed Justin Theroux the same weekend Brad and Angie marry. According to Brad, though, no date has been set. All he said is that it will happen. Out of curiosity, do you think we'll know about it or will they pull it off in total privacy? I'm thinking it'll be very private. Angelina had a baby in Nambia for goodness sake. I don't see her making it a ticker tape parade. But, then again, maybe Brad wants something big.

WAS SCIENTOLOGY THE REASON BEHIND PENELOPE CRUZ, TOM CRUISE SPLIT?
Scientology has been in the press quite a bit this week. Amidst the news about women auditioning for the role of Tom's wife, a story
that broke is Penelope and Tom split because she rejected Scientology.
Apparently, she refused to relinquish her Buddhist beliefs. Of course,
the Church said none of it's true and denies being involved in
Tom's life.
KATIE HOLMES PRAGMATIC ABOUT DIVORCE
Katie spoke to Women's Wear Daily and said
that she has a lot of feelings about the press. She pointed out that there are
people with much bigger problems. I agree with Katie there are much bigger issues that warrant the attention her divorce received. Good for Katie. Way to keep it in
perspective. It shows she's not self-absorbed and loving all of the
hoopla that's surrounded her split. I picked this as my favorite because I like it when a woman shows how a break-up or divorce isn't the end of her world.
