My
regular readers know I am the first person to hammer Miley Cyrus
if I think she’s acting immaturely. As such, I wanted to address the
recent story about what’s happening with
her fiancé Liam Hemsworth. She went to Philadelphia with him so he could
shoot his new movie, Paranoia.
Apparently, he wants her to go back to Los Angeles
because she’s making him nutty while he’s trying to work. Miley’s
described as being “hellbent” on enjoying their time together. The
report said while Liam’s filming, Miley’s shopping and going to nail salons. They said she can't sit still.
Hmmm…not
sure about the rest of you, but I don’t see what’s so wrong with her
occupying herself during the day. I think it is pretty independent of
her to go about her business while he works. I’m glad she’s not
insecurely hanging out on set so that everyone knows she’s his fiancĂ©.
But,
the article went on to say that at night she wants to go out to gay
clubs and have fancy dinners. Liam would rather stay in, go over the
script, and order-in take out because he’s working. On top of it all, Miley
brought her adorable pooch who snores which makes it tough for Liam to
sleep.

Ah
ha! There it is. At night is when the problems happen. My advice
to Miley is let Liam initiate going out. In the same way a woman
shouldn’t ask a man for plans when single, she should
follow Liam’s lead. I don’t know any straight men willing to sacrifice a
good night’s sleep to hit a gay club if they have a packed work schedule the next day.
It’s
important that Miley show him that she’s flexible and can be low-key when
he needs to work. If running lines for his script is important for him
at night, she can offer to help if she wants to spend
time with him. Or, have take out ready so it’s there once he’s off work.
The
same is true for all women. Say you’re out of town (business trip or
not) with your boyfriend or husband. Make sure you have books, music,
laptop, etc., to occupy your time. A man loves a self-sufficient woman. In fact, he’ll want her around more because her
presence is not bothersome.
As
for the dog, I’m not sure what to tell her about that one. I have
bunnies and while my boy snores, it’s not so loud it keeps me up. Does
anyone have tips for Miley on helping her dog stop snoring?
Tell me what you think! What's your advice for Miley? Should she return to Los Angeles?
Until next time…
Shine like Platinum!
