Well,
this happened to Diane Kruger and she did. Her boyfriend, Joshua
Jackson, described their first date as miserable. At the restaurant
where they dined, there was a flower in bloom that Diane was allergic
to. She sniffed and sneezed the whole time (wonder why they didn’t move
tables or remove the flower?). Josh was so nervous that he “chewed her ear off for about an hour and a half.” He was in disbelief that she called back.
They’ve been together since. I know they aren’t married, but didn’t want to focus on whether the relationship is Rules for this post. I have a different point that I’d like to make.
I
think it’s fine when a woman’s picky. There’s no reason to settle. In
the end, she’ll be frustrated and miserable with an equally unhappy
partner. Yet, even if a man doesn’t seem ideal, keep an open mind. He
might be trying hard to impress you and won’t realize he’s making
offensive dating blunders.

Now,
there will be dates where you're certain you don't like him. Maybe his online dating pictures don’t even remotely resemble
what he looks like in person. Or, maybe he does something you can’t
stand and you want to get away from him. Don’t go on a second date in these cases
– even if he’s ridiculously wealthy. If you for sure don’t like a man,
don’t waste his time or yours. That’s just bad karma.
Tell me what you think! Have you ever gone on a second date and been pleasantly surprised to find out you liked him?
Until next time…
Shine like Platinum!
