Is It True Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore Are Trying to Reconcile? Is It True Mila Kunis Wants Ashton to Commit?

I read this article on Perez Hilton today and it made me laugh because something tells me it's so far from true. The reason I chose to blog about it is because, unfortunately, it's a problem some women face. It's a topic women don't want to think about: Your guy going back to his ex.

Even though the rumors are swirling about Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's alleged hookup, more are surfacing involving Ashton and Demi Moore. The story goes that they're looking to fix their marriage, have been attending Kababalah-based therapy sessions, and frequently chatting on the phone. This report even claimed that Mila, being "anxious to commit," might cause Ashton and Demi to not get back together.

I don't even know where to start on what I think is untrue here. I do believe something might be up with Ashton and Mila. But, I don't see him trying to fix anything with Demi. Even if he's trying, Mila hardly strikes me as the type of woman to stand in his way of reuniting with Demi. She's too secure.

If she were the sort to put herself in the middle of Ashton and Demi, she would've made it known they're dating. She isn't doing this. Mila is making everyone wonder what's going. She's not territorial in the slightest. Plus, Ashton's supposedly wanted her forever. Were Mila to say, "I want a relationship," I doubt he'd think twice.

With this situation as the backdrop for my point, what happens if your guy decides to go back to his ex? What can, or should, you do? Can you stop it?

Realistically, the problem of a man going back to an ex is no different than a man leaving you for another woman. One is from the past while the other is in the present. You're equally powerless in both situations.

There's no point in guilting him and saying, "Well, I wish I'd known before we started that you felt this way. Now I feel like an idiot." Don't show him you care. Call a friend instead to vent, cry, have a breakdown, and whatever you need to do. But, let him get nothing out of you.

Another caution is do not be his therapist. He might want your opinion. Even if he asks, I wouldn't counsel him on his decision. It's not your problem. Don't help him navigate the rough waters of his romantic turmoil.

But, how do you keep it from happening? My regular readers know my answer -- do The Rules! When you're playing hard-to-get and making a man pursue you, he'll be thinking about how to plan your next date -- not his ex. You'll weed out a man who has his heart with another woman. As such, you'll save yourself the time, trouble, and pain.

Take the poll or tell me what you think! Is Ashton trying to reconcile with Demi?

Until next time...
