Two quick points I want to make about this. First, I'm not terribly excited that they were hooked up. As I've said before, I'm not a big fan of being set-up through a matchmaker.
I know The Rules says to let your single friends know when you're available for dates. A blind date is better than no date at all. Yet, the book emphasizes how much better it is when a man sees you from across the room and must have you.

Second, Lauren should keep quiet about how she hopes William's "The One" -- or find new friends who won't talk to Us about her long-term wants for their relationship. I can't tell whether she's made it known to William or if a friend of hers spilled the beans. Either way, since William knows, I'd be very surprised if he proposes before he passes the California bar exam. If he doesn't need to worry about losing her, she'll take a back-seat to his schooling.
Until next time...
Shine like Platinum!
